The Intensive Dance Course (IDC) is one of Ballet Indonesia Foundation’s longest-running educational programs, first introduced in 2013 and held annually during the school holidays. As a non-profit organization founded in 2014, Ballet.id created IDC to provide young dancers in Indonesia with access to international-standard training, world-class teachers, and a nurturing environment that supports artistic growth and discipline. IDC continues to be a cornerstone of Ballet.id’s mission to strengthen and expand the dance ecosystem in Indonesia.
THE FACULTY
Jesus Arroyo Navarro
Artistic Director, Shenzhen Ballet Academy
Former Mariinsky artist with Vaganova training (Kirill Melnikov). Holds a BA in Classical Ballet & Arts (Munich). Has taught masterclasses across Europe, the USA, and Japan. Recipient of multiple teaching awards including recognition from Forbes and Taoli Cup.
Zoe Greten
Contemporary Dance Artist & Choreographer
Performer with IID Company and creator of works for Dutch National Ballet. Her choreographies have been showcased at Dutch Dance Days and Korzo Theatre. Frequent guest teacher across Europe. Recipient of the 2025 Leo Spreksel Award.
Valerii Ignatov
Artistic Director, Shenzhen Ballet Academy
Former Mariinsky Soloist (2018–2024). Trained in Novosibirsk with a strong Vaganova foundation. Experienced teacher for international programs in Moscow, Japan, and Spain. Currently develops young talents through artistic leadership in China.
